DEEP THOUGHTS: It takes real courage to grow up and become who you really are.
EAT ME: Baby Back Ribs, Welsh Rarebit
FOODIE: Welsh rarebit or Welsh rabbit is a dish of hot cheese sauce, often including ale, mustard, or Worcestershire sauce, served on toasted bread. The origins of the name are unknown, though the earliest recorded use is 1725 as "Welsh rabbit" (possibly ironic or jocular as the dish contains no rabbit); the earliest documented use of "Welsh rarebit" is in 1781.
HOLIDAY: Hump Day
HOROSCOPE: Advances in science will soon allow man to travel to the most distant corners of the universe. Still no word, however, on it being able to get you off that couch.
JOKE: I asked my wife to try anal sex. She said, "Sure. You first." - One of my friends goes: "So, you know what really turns me on; when girls talk dirty in bed." Yeah I tried that with my wife. I said: "Hey, talk dirty to me." She said: "Go fuck yourself". Not that dirty.

TRAVEL: London
TRUMPED: Yesterday in one sentence: A federal judge ruled that Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles was illegal; Trump will deploy the National Guard to Chicago; after a federal appeals court ruled most of his global tariffs illegal, Trump vowed to ask the Supreme Court “tomorrow” to overturn the decision; Trump canceled $4.9 billion in foreign aid using a “pocket rescission”; a federal judge blocked Trump’s effort to secretly fly more than 600 Guatemalan children out of the U.S. over Labor Day weekend; the Trump administration is weighing a plan that would give Palestinians a digital land “token” in exchange for their property so Gaza can be redeveloped into luxury resorts and “AI-powered” cities; the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released 33,295 pages of Justice Department records on Jeffrey Epstein; Trump plans to issue an unconstitutional executive order requiring voter ID for “every single vote” and banning nearly all mail-in ballots; Trump said he would award Rudy Giuliani the Presidential Medal of Freedom; a D.C. grand jury refused to indict two people accused of threatening to kill Trump; and Trump addressed online rumors that he was dead, calling them “fake news.”
WORD: What/Where/When - If you replace the “W” with a “T” in What, Where and When, you would have the answer to each one.
WTF?!: Eric Trump for president? Second son leaves the door open for a White House run: ‘I’m not saying no’ - egads.
HISTORICAL CONSCIOUSNESS: 2020 - The Atlantic reported that Trump had described American soldiers killed in combat as “losers” and “suckers” and also asked that wounded soldiers not appear in a parade. The comments echo those that Trump made about John McCain. You would almost have to be a “loser” and “sucker” not to believe it. 2019 - European Vacation: London. 2012 - Audrie Pott went to party with about ten other teenagers who were allegedly drunk. Three or more of those teenagers sexually assaulted her. Three boys eventually pleaded guilty to and served time in juvenile hall for the sexual assault. During the assault, photographs were taken and distributed via social network. In the following days, Pott was bullied by some who saw the photographs. Nine days later, Pott killed herself. 2007 - Adventurer/Businessman Steve Fossett disappeared while flying a light aircraft over the Great Basin Desert, between Nevada and California. Extensive searches proved unsuccessful, and he was declared legally dead in February of the following year. 1998 - Bob married Linda. They had to work on their wedding night instead of going on a honeymoon because they couldn't afford not to work. 1982 - The US Festival began in southern California. 1975 - An all-star jam session took place at a party in Los Angeles for actor Peter Sellers. The lineup for the group who named themselves the Trading Faces: Bill Wyman on bass, Ronnie Wood, Jesse Ed Davis, and Danny Kortchmar on guitars, Keith Moon, organ and drums, Joe Cocker, vocals, Nigel Olsson, drums and David Bowie and Bobby Keys on sax. 1970 - Hall of Fame football coach Vince Lombardi died at age 57. 1967 – Dagen H in Sweden: Traffic changes from driving on the left to driving on the right overnight. 1962 - Poet E.E. Cummings died at the age of 67. 1944 - African-American sharecropper Recy Taylor was kidnapped while leaving church and gang-raped by six white men. Despite the men's confessions to authorities, two grand juries subsequently declined to indict the men; no charges were ever brought against her assailants. 1783 - The Treaty of Paris officially ended America's Revolutionary War.
