JOKE: On the night before the wedding, the bride-to-be and her bridesmaids were giggling over tequila and strawberry daiquiris at the bachelorette party. The maid of honor started a game of truth or dare. "If your boyfriend were a soda, what would he be?" she slurred at the other bridesmaid. "7-Up, because he's got seven inches and he can keep it up. What about you?" "Mountain Dew. He knows how to mount and do me. And what about the future Mrs. Johnson? What kind of soda is Matt?" "Jack Daniels," said the bride proudly. "But that's not a soda! Jack Daniels is a hard liquor!" protested her friends. The bride looked at them and said, "Girls, why do you think I'm marrying him?"

HISTORICAL CONSCIOUSNESS: 2021 - Hello. Hello! 2020 - Singer-songwriter Emitt Rhodes died in his sleep. He was 70 years old. 1991 - Gwen Jacob, a University of Guelph student in Canada, was arrested, after walking down a street while topless after removing her shirt when the temperature was 91°F and was charged with indecency. Police stated that they acted following a complaint from a woman who was upset that one of her children had seen Jacob topless. Jacob stated she did it because men were doing it and she wanted to draw attention to the double standard. She was found guilty and fined $75. In her defense she argued that breasts were merely fatty tissue. In finding her guilty, the judge stated that breasts were "part of the female body that is sexually stimulating to men both by sight and touch," and therefore should not be exposed. 1979 – The Sandinista rebels overthrew the government of the Somoza family in Nicaragua. 1969 - Apollo 11, with Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins on board, went into orbit around the moon. 1848 – A two-day Women's Rights Convention opened in Seneca Falls, New York. One of the most groundbreaking events in the history of women's rights. The meeting took place in Seneca Falls at the Wesleyan Chapel. This was one of the very first conventions that addressed the mistreatment of women and the inequality they face. It was primarily known as the Woman's Rights Convention, and it fought for equal religious, social, and civil rights of women.
